About this online event: TOPIC: Social and health needs within our vulnerable communities have been at the forefront of many discussions related to COVID-19 and our community recovery. This session will explore systemic issues, social determinants of health, and social needs and the intersection with adverse community environments and adverse childhood experiences. Implicit bias and trauma impact on health will also be explored. Learning Objectives: • Participants have an understanding of what social determinants are and who has the power to shape them. • Participants understand the connection between childhood development and the social determinants of health. • Participants identify where they, as individuals or within their agency, can work to support local determinants. • Learn how COVID has impacted the social determinants of health and economic well-being."
